The work of Guide Dogs UK to provide help and support for visually impaired people across the country is phenomenal, and we worked with agency Zone Digital to create a series of films that focussed on three different match-going fans... and how their dog has impacted and improved their life through the lens of football.
For a football fan, going to the match is the pinnacle of their week. A time to meet your friends, take in the atmosphere, and—hopefully—celebrate some goals. But being blind or partially sighted, whether from birth or later in life, changes that dramatically. The work of Guide Dogs UK allows these football fans to attend their beloved matchday with complete confidence, assurance, and trust. Meet Nikki and her dog Rita, Gordon and his dog Henry, and Nathan and his dog Abby.

EPISODE 2: Gordon & Henry at the Amex
When Gordon lost his sight in 2009, he described himself as giving up on everything.

Then Henry came into his life, and they went to their first @OfficialBHAFC game together. Henry changed everything.

EPISODE 3: Nathan & Abby at Field Mill
"I sat at home not being able to go to the match anymore. Being able to get back into that, thanks to having a guide dog, brought a sense of community back into my life."
