Working with Hanon and adidas Originals, we transformed a Shoreditch retail unit into a retro sports shop for the weekend, to celebrate the relaunch of the iconic adidas London silhouette.
Consisting of a full shop refit, asset creation, guest list and event management, alongside coverage across our social channels, the project allowed MUNDIAL to appeal to old and new adidas aficionados alike, while also utilising our close links to those within football culture.
The opening night featured of a panel discussing the history of adidas’ cultural heritage within UK football culture, featuring prominent football culture photographer, Grant Fleming, and Matt Welty from US publisher Complex, alongside a free bar and music from The Move magazine. The store was then open all weekend, retailing modern sportswear in an immersive retro space designed to celebrate the glory days of sportswear in the UK, playing on people’s emotions and driving positive sentiment towards both Hanon and the adidas Originals brand.
