MUNDIAL BOBBLE HAT
SOLD OUT
NO SHEEP WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS BEANIE.
It’s a vegan friendly acrylic, which means it retains heat, absorbs water and resists abrasion, meaning it’ll last longer. A winter warmer for your head. Wear it to the shops, wear it to games, wear it to bed. Wear it wherever, we’re not judging.
A little history lesson: as a larger version of the skullcap, the beanie was originally used in the 1900s by blue collar labourers who needed brimless caps in order to work unobstructed. They then fell out of fashion in the 40s before becoming part of student hazing rituals in American universities during the 1950s. College freshmen at Cornell University would be required to wear beanies, or ‘dinks’ as they were known then, with big buckle galoshes at all times.
Before Thanksgiving every year, Cornell students would gather on a football field to throw their hated beanies onto a bonfire while effigies of the dink would be set aflame in the stands. It was serious, serious stuff.
Don’t set fire to these; stick them on your head.
