1. The Promoter
The promoter is: FOOTBALLCO MEDIA LIMITED, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 12701601 whose registered office is at 175 High Holborn, 8th Floor, Unit 8.01, London, England, WC1V 7AA ("FootballCo").
2. The competition
2.1 The title of the competition is MUNDIAL Film Festival (the “Competition”).
2.2 The window to submit entries for the Competition runs from 8th June 2026 to 8th July 2026, inviting eligible UK, Ireland, and US residents aged 18+ to submit a 3–15 minute film via the Festival Website. The aim is to explore football's impact on relationships and communities through narrative depth, creative expression, and resonance. The winning film will be showcased at the Mundial Film Festival in New York, week of July 13th - 19th 2026, with potential features on Mundial platforms.
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 09:00 BST on 8th June 2026 (the “Opening Date”) to 18:00 BST on 8th July 2026 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter, as specified this clause 3, by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To enter the competition:
a. Send a completed entry form, which can be found on https://mundialmag.com/pages/mundial-films-submission (the “Festival Website”); and
b. Submit a private or unlisted Vimeo or YouTube link (or any other platform accessible in the Territory) to your film submission (in accordance with festival guidelines), by the Closing Date. The film should comply with the Content Guidelines in section 5 and should have a duration of 3 to 15 minutes (the “Film”).

3.4 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Festival Website.
3.5 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.6 By submitting a Submission, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions including your entry being screened during the Event should you be selected as a Winner.

4. Eligibility
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and United States (excluding New York, Florida and Rhode Island, and where prohibited by law) and (“Territory”) who are aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that do not conform with the below:
4.4 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) use of any robotic, automatically generated, programmed, artificial intelligence or similar software applications, or software entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) copies and not originals; or
(e) incomplete.
4.5 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Joint Submissions are permitted but must be submitted as a single entry with all relevant names included, not as separate entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any separate duplicate entries at its sole discretion.
4.6 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if (i) your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition (ii) you engage or are suspected to have engaged in any behaviour that could negatively impact the Promoter’s reputation or image. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal activities, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and offensive or discriminatory language or actions.
5. Submission Content Guidelines
5.1 Submissions that do not meet the following “Content Guidelines” are subject to disqualification and/or removal from the Competition at the Promoter's sole and absolute discretion:
(a) Submissions must be submitted in the English language (or with English subtitles) and if successful must then be supplied in MP4 format.
(b) Submissions must comply with these Terms and Conditions and meet all specifications or requirements called for in these Terms and Condition and any advertising for the Competition.
(c) Submissions cannot be displayed or distributed except by the entrant, and you must maintain all rights, without third-party obligations, to license your Submission to the Promoter if you are selected as a Winner.
(d) Submissions must not have been submitted previously in any festivals or Competitions of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly (i.e., disclosed beyond your immediate circle of friends and family) through any means previously.
(e) Submissions must include only materials created by the entrant or for which the entrant has all rights required to comply with these Terms and Conditions and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. Promoter does not permit the infringement of others’ rights and any use of materials that infringe third party rights is grounds for disqualification from the Competition and may subject you to liability. Do not copy or quote your favourite movie, book or photo or include materials, images, graphics, music or trademarks belonging to any third parties or incorporate the names, likeness or persons of any party other than yourself unless you have obtained all rights necessary to permit you to use same in connection with your Submission and grant the rights herein granted to the Promoter. Submissions that contain brand names, trademarks, or company logos other than those owned by the Promoter are subject to disqualification.
(f) Submissions must not include material that: (a) is sexually explicit, indecent, obscene, violent, hateful, defamatory, slanderous or libelous, (b) is derogatory or promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, (c) invades the privacy or publicity rights of any person, living or deceased, (d) is unlawful, (e) is harmful to other entrants in the Competition such as viruses, Trojan horses or other technologies that could adversely impact the Competition, and/or (f) is disparaging to the Promoter or is inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which the Promoter wishes to associate (at Promotor’s sole and absolute discretion).
(g) Submissions should not reveal any personal information about another individual, including any person’s address, phone number, email address, credit card number or any information that may be used to track, contact, or impersonate that individual.
(h) Entrants must not submit a Submission that, if selected, cannot be licensed to the Promoter as contemplated below.
5.2 License: By submitting your Film, you grant the Promoter a worldwide, non-revocable, non-exclusive right to use, store, copy, adapt (to the extent necessary to fit the Film in each platform), showcase and feature the Film as described above. All other rights remain with the entrant(s).
6. Winners
6.1 The competition Submissions will be judged by a panel of three judges selected by the Promoter in its sole discretion and may include representatives from the Promoter’s affiliated companies (the “Panel”).
6.2 Information regarding the Panel will be available for 7 days from the Closing Date upon written request at mundial@footballco.com
6.3 Eligible Submissions will be judged via Criteria set by the Promoter which consists of three (3) different attributes, each of which the Panel will rate from one (1) to five (5). The entries with the highest score will be shortlisted amongst of which the Winner(s) will be chosen:
The judging attributes include:
(a) Narrative Depth: Highlighting stories that showcase football's influence on relationships and communities, such as personal growth, reconnections, and community support.
(b) Creative Expression: Evaluating the originality and creativity in portraying football-related themes, whether through unique storytelling or innovative perspectives.
(c) Impact and Resonance: Assessing how effectively the story captures the essence of football's role in people's lives, and its ability to engage and resonate with the audience.
Together the “Criteria”
6.4 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.5 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after 8th July 2026 (the “Announcement Date”), using the email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
6.6 The Promoter must publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. To comply, the Promoter may publish the names of the Winner(s), along with their winning entries on the Mundial website, and across any of the promoter owned subsidiary websites and publications.
6.7 If you object to any or all of your name, other applicable details, or winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at datarequests@footballco.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. The Prize
7.1 Winning Submissions will be showcased at the ‘Mundial Film Festival’ as part of the ‘House of GOAL” event in New York (“Event”) (the “Prize”). Winner(s) who are residents in the United States may receive an invitation to the screening at the Event and may be invited to participate in a post-screening Q&A or discussion, at the sole discretion of the Promoter. An invitation to the Event does not constitute part of the Prize and does not include any travel, accommodation, or any other expenses associated with attending to such Event. Any other costs incurred that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
7.2 FootballCo cannot guarantee a big screen display, as the film may be shown alongside live World Cup games. FootballCo reserves the right to determine the presentation and screening format of the film(s).
7.3 The Promoter may feature selected films across Mundial platforms and may, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, introduce the winning entries to Mundial’s global community of readers, viewers and collaborators.
7.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable. There is no cash alternative for the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
8. Claiming the prize
8.1 Please allow 10 days from the Closing Date for the communication regarding the Winner(s).
8.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
8.3 The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is unavailable within 7 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to screen the Film at the Event as a way to deliver the Prize.
9. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner(s) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
10.1 The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
10.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) License to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the Film per clauses 5.2 and 10.3; and
(b) waive absolutely all moral rights,
in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
10.3 You agree that the Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry available on its website https://mundialmag.com/pages/mundial-films-submission and in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the Film and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
11. Data protection and publicity
11.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in www.footballco.com/privacy-policy. See also 6.3 and 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
12. General
12.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
12.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
