MARK CROSSLEY & GARY LINEKER, WEMBLEY 1991 - WELL OFFSIDE PHOTOGRAPHY
Mark Crossley saved penalties. It’s what he did. It’s what he does. On the pitch, in the garden with the kids, he’s a penalty saver. He saved 50% of the penalties that he faced during his career, which – when you really bloody think about it – is insane. Most ’keepers manage about 20%. Anyway, here he is, Crossley, saving from Gary Lineker at Wembley in the 1991 FA Cup Final. Routine stuff, if you can read minds. We think Mark can read minds.
