Stupidest celebration of the week award goes to Mohammed El Fakih and his team mates at Moroccan second division outfit Youssoufia Berrechid in their game against Mouloudia Oujda.

Wheeling away after scoring (admittedly, a pretty nice goal) he sought out someone from the backroom staff to get a phone to post a picture on Instagram, à la Ballotelli. Near the whole team gets involved, manager and all. The officials, however, are having none of it and come in to separate the lads.

Cue cut to widescreen to see the opposition kicking off as Berrechid scamper to get back in defence. A couple of frantic swipes at the player on the ball later and its man on the ground. Penalty given. Penalty buried. 1–1. Oh, mate.

Didn’t even manage to post the thing. A modern tragedy.
