adidas Canada have teamed up with designer Eske Schiralli to drop their own take on the Tango collection.
Eske breaks ranks with previous iterations of Tango apparel by giving the sports performance gear real agency. His inspiration for the collection, apparently, is an imagination of the future from the point of view of the garments themselves. The result? Some nice trackies and mad jackets. We can’t complain.
The idea is that the pieces have evolved themselves rather than simply the creation of a human designer. It’s ambitious, but they’ve pulled it off.
The construction is wild. A cut-and-stitch fever dream, folder and latticed and laced, with the jackets feel
The rest of the collection follows the same, sleek lines. You can easily imagine each piece as a staple one day.
