PATTA SHOW FOOTBALL IS IN THEIR DNA WITH SS19 DROP
Words: Josh Millar
Patta are the kings of Dutch streetwear and have been since 2004 when they opened their first store in the heart of Amsterdam. It’s official, we’ve decided it.
Football has always been at the heart of their design principles, and this spring they’ve released three football shirts that will look as good at Green Man Festival as they do at fives.
They’ve dropped Script Logo, Old E, and The Patta Flower shirts just in time for the upcoming hot weather. Although each has their own distinct style, they remain quintessentially Patta, featuring the brand’s script logo across the middle, as well as the Patta Rainbow and Panther badges on the chest. The orange and black Script Logo shirt has the added bonus of breathable mesh on the back to keep you cool this summer (or on the Tube at literally any time).
The lookbook sticks to Patta’s commitment to their footballing roots and features bastions of Dutch street football, Edward van Gils and Rocky Hehakaija, wearing the Patta Flower and Script Logo jersey respectively while they chose up-and-coming SC Heerenveen and Dutch U20 midfielder Quinty Sabajo to model the Script Logo jersey.
Absolute belter of a drop.
The jerseys will be available from Patta’s Amsterdam and London stores, as well as their online store from Saturday 23rd March.
