If you win the Premier League, what do you get? A nice trophy, fame, glory. All fleeting achievements. At the same time the following year someone else will be champion, and your success short-lived. But, if you win MLS, you get a collaboration with Reigning Champ and some sweet trackies that will last forever.

To celebrate their first victory in the MLS Cup, Reigning Champ have created a capsule collection with Atlanta United. It includes a hoodie, T-shirt and shorts. Perfect for Super Sunday on the sofa with a headache and a strong brew. The minimalist design includes the Atlanta United badge, Reigning Champ’s logo, and a number ‘18’ in a star: just in case you forget which year they won the MLS Cup. The collection is a super limited edition and is made in Canada from premium quality Midweight Terry. This is different from Heavyweight Terry, who played centre back for England during Italia ‘90.

Last season Atlanta United finished 2nd overall in the MLS and beat Portland Timbers 2–0 in the MLS Cup final under the management of Gerardo Martino. With Martino’s departure to manage the Mexican national team, Atlanta’s 2019 season has started slowly. Frank de Boer has struggled to get the side winning again, and it’s unlikely they’ll replicate last season’s success. It’s alright though; he can slip into this collaboration and relax his worries away.
