It’s the UEFA Nations League draw today, and the completely trustworthy lads at UEFA have put together a handy video to explain how it’ll work. It looks a bit like The Crystal Maze, and we have watched it about 15 or 16 times. We’re still none the wiser, but there’s absolutely no harm in you having a go as well—Here it is.
The main takeaways seem to be that its aim is to “assure the continued success of national team football”, and that “it will provide more competitive game”, or at least that’s what the nice Eurosport voice man says over the top of some soothing animations. There’s something about coefficients as well. Which is probably integral, but which we couldn’t get our head around.
