Japanese football culture is – much like everywhere – mad, beautiful, brilliant, intense, funny, and ultimately very, very football. Things are different, but the same.
We have some friends over in Japan, and decided to make a magazine with them. So here it is: MUNDIAL Japan, Issue 001. Full of all the things you like about the UK version – lovely photography, loving words, in-jokes that we reckon only you and us get, quick stuff up the front, big features in the middle, fashion at the back – and we’re well excited about it. Oh, and they’ve interviewed five Samurai Blue players, one from each of the World Cup’s that Japan have featured in. That’s pretty bloody good.
It is, of course, in Kanji (Japanese), and the numbers we have over in the UK are extreeeemely limited. If you’d like to get your hands on one, act quick.
