Thanks to the pioneering and painstaking work by the scientists (we assume they’re scientists) at DirtyTeams, we are now able to analyse who have been the dirtiest teams in Premier League history.
Using a completely scientific ‘dirty points’ system of 25pts for a red card, 5pts for a yellow card and 1pt for a foul, the boffins over at the Dirty Teams lab have ascertained that Everton have accumulated the most ‘Dirty Points’ in the history of the Premier League, Derby County are the dirtiest team on average per games played, and Blackburn Rovers hold the record for the dirtiest season ever in ’98/’99. Shouts to Craig Short for turning out for all of these clubs during the Premier League era. Doing the Lord’s work, Craig.
